I just love 'Alcahofa' and especially 'Thé au Harem d'Archimède', so I definately wanted to see Villalobos' performance. And who would have thought minimal live could be so full of energy. Most of the bass you couldn't hear but only feel from my feet right up to my middle... Super set ! I love him ;-)
Here's another clip I made during the flamenco concert I saw during the Ghent Festivities. It's a pitty I can only make 3 minute clips with my photo camera. It starts and ends a bit abrupt, but the images presented are again so intense. You don't want to run into her when she's crossed, I'm sure ;-)
With my '10 Days Off' member card I had the opportunity to see a lot of excellent performances. Here's Adam Beyer, pounding away at his decks. My cloathes were soaking wet by the time he was through with me :D
I saw this band 'Queen Zapalot' perform at a 3-day youth festival in De Pinte near Ghent. I know the lead singer Kate De Winter and it was the first time I saw her on stage. All musicians performed excellently ! It was a real revelation to me. I hope they go places ;-)
