What will nearly $100,000 buy? A process that accomplishes nothing but to allow politicians flex their muscles and pretend they are accomplishing something productive for the community. However, the bottom line is they really accomplished nothing but to blow taxpayers money.

The Assessor debacle of 2006 was not a lesson in good government. I proved that inept politicians can and do manipulate boards and public opinion with half truths and ennuendo.
Due to errors in uniformity that were discovered through the appeals process, the Board of Assessors unanimously voted to utilize the 2005 set of values and correct the deficiencies that became apparent.
