1968. NB014A. A nice cover version of a great tune. Unlike my other upload Bye Bye Love, the label actually credits the correct writers: T.Bell/W.Hart. I think this gets released again on New Beat a bit later on, the New Beat with the Red label.
Taken from the LP Captured Live. Peter Tosh was very tall, very rough and tough and never backed down, and was convinced by a Witch Doctor that he could transform into a Panther.
From the TV programme Aquarius from the 70s. Roy Shirley turns in a great live performance and the band really cooks, especially the girl on keyboards who powers this tune along with those pumping keyboard chords. Pop-a-Top stylee!!!
US315, no A or B side stated, but this is the A side. TMX328 is the Trojan Matrix Number, given to tunes before they are put out on a Trojan subsidiary label, but where else would this have gone, apart from the Upsetter label.
