This track started out life as an Oakenfold remix of U2's Lemon. It was then re-worked minus the U2 bits and made into an instrumental called Orange which was the b-side to this track. Personally I prefer this version and it is one of my favourite dance tracks for the 90's.
Faithless have made many great records over the years, but this is their finest moment, in my opinion.
I got it sleeping rough on the streets in the rain
I got it learning to share my peoples pain
I got it making flowers grow in hearts of stone
I got it 'cos I always take thee long way home
Once upon a time there was an accapella track by Alanis Morissette called Your House which Hybrid turned into a stunning track called Forgive Me, but the evil Alanis didn't like it so it was never commercially released. The End.
This is one of a number of 90's dance records that 'borrowed' the melody from Ryuichi Sakamoto's theme tune for the film Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence. Although other versions such as Watergate's Heart Of Asia were more successful, I still prefer this Kayashi version.
This is a cover of the Talking Heads track made for the soundtrack of the film "Plunkett & Macleane" recorded by composer Craig Armstrong. This features Helen White & Lewis Parker on vocals. My favourite line, which only music tech geeks will get is.. "Start bugging out like my 900 crashing" :)
I'm not a fan of The Fall, but I've always liked this collaboration that Mr Smith did in 1996. Incidentally it was released on PWL records, but don't let that put you off!
This band were part of the Romo (a.k.a new-new romantics) movement from 95, but don't let that you put you off this fantastic Perfecto remix. Note to DJs: This mixes really well with M.W.N.N. Floor-Essence!
