In this video you can see my new geiger counter bought from ebay and shipped from russia for only 20? (35$)!!! The two radioactive sources are: 3% uranium marbles and 2% thoriated welding electrodes.
My verdict: BUY ONE, it really worth the money !!!

The Geiger counter used in the video is a kit from Italy, that I assembled (100 ?, from "nuova elettronica"). It shows the value of radioactivity in mRoentgen/h. I've bought this marbles for 10 ? from eBay, they are safe to handle and the radiation dose is very low.
