An episode of the 1960s dutch puppet show, here in an English language version, in an episode called 'Jackie the Unicorn'. Revel in nostalgia, this might be the last surviving episode anywhere.
This episode - 'A Spell for Everything'. The legendary wizard Merlin - protector of Camelot and Ancient Britain - recalls his enchanting adventures in this pilot episode in the style of an animated childrens' picturebook.
Gerry and Sylvia Anderson made this pilot for a live action/puppet series back in 1973 (or thereabouts), relatively cheaply in Malta. No series resulted.
Cassie was an old crone puppet (made by the Jim Henson (Muppets) Creature Shop) with a mouth on her that was a prime feature in the 1992-93 series of the British Live Saturday morning show 'What's Up Doc'. She proved too over the mark, and was pulled, as were all the other puppet characters. Here is one of her funniest moments. Yvette Fielding and the gang think so too ...
This animation dates from the mid to late 70s and was based on the popular Butterfly Ball poem, and inspired by the lavish artworks of Alan Aldridge. The music track on this is NOT the stringently defended Ronnie James Dio version, so if you like that one, go elsewhere on You Tube. This is the one that broadcast on TV in 1981 with the upbeat more-fun soundtrack that many prefer to Dio.

This was a pop video made in the early days of PC computing (May 1997) for the group Surf Green. It was never commercially released and this video was seen only on a PC computing cover disc.

A promo for the newest extreme thrill to hit the UK, this based in Brighton on the South Coast of England for the Summer of 2008. I'm posting this as I edited this promo for the guys who run it and would like to know what people will think. The thrill itself is awesome.
Here's a nightmare featured as part of a live KIDS TV Saturday morning show 'What's Up Doc'. Greg and Max and a leprecaun singing about his meaty sheets leads into a video box outburst by The Wolves. Look for other clips of this anarchic show.
Gaston was a legless French frog character who's prime love was to get legless, drinking at every opportunity; another character with a inopportune mouth on him that was a prime feature in the 1992-93 series of the British Live Saturday morning show 'What's Up Doc'. He proved too over the mark, and was pulled, as were all the other puppet characters. Here is one of many of his finest moments...
Simon Perry - cheese ranger and his disfunctional friend Colin. Catch Colin's dance - guaranteed NOT to get you women. Classic. Followed by The Wolves - more clips to be found here. Comes from the KID'S live Satuday morning show What's Up Doc. Children's TV's lost gem.
Cry Boy Cry - Blue Zoo. Blue Zoo charted to number 13 in the UK singles music charts in November 1982 with this upbeat number, seen here performed on BBC1s Top of the Pops
