We continue through the Forest Maze in hopes of finding the mysterious doll. We find a couple more secrets, find the doll, and follow him into a strange part of the forest.
We get to the last area of Shy Guy's Toy Box after spending 10 minutes on fetch quests with backtracking to figure out how to hit 4 colored blocks. ...Woo hoo! Best chapter in the game!
We go to Tadpole Pond to see Mallow's grandpa, Frogfucious about the Star we found after defeating Mack. We find out that Mallow is an orphan and he wants to go adventuring with us to go find his real family. On our way, Frogfucious tells us that Rose Town is a nearby town that needs our help and we should go there first so we head out to Rose Way, the route to Rose Town.
Mallow suggest that we go to Kero Sewers, the nearest connecting route to Tadpole Pond so that we can see his all-knowing grandpa and ask him about the Star we found after defeating Mack. We go there, and find out it's crawling with monsters...
We return Toadstool to her castle, but she decides to instead join us on the adventure. She suggests we go look for the Fourth Star Piece immediately, so we go ask Mallow's grandpa where the next Star Piece might be.
We fight Croco again, the coward gives us our Coins back before running off again. We then blow up the wall in our way before and then see the bomber inside the dungeon responsible for the cave ins.
After suffering a humiliating defeat, Punchinello who was guarding the third Star Piece decides to blow up the mine. We grab the missing kids and make an escape.
We go to the depths of the Pirate Ship, fight the monstrous giant Blooper that sank the ship, King Calamari. Then we proceed to Johnny's Room finding a secret along the way.
