The Young family experience a series of tragedies, as a radio broadcast makes clear. The latest of which is the kidnapping of Allison, the youngest daughter of the family, less than a year after a car accident claimed the life of their father.
Award-winner at the 2006 Oakland University Student Film Festival.
This is the two-minute teaser trailer for the final cut of the award-winning "Amber Alert," my newest film. When the film is completed, it will be posted on www.blarghlimited.co m.
"One of the funniest films I've ever seen," said Andrew Kotwicki. A short film we made that is a poster child for misdirection. Featuring music by Julie London, Electric Six, Glenn Miller and Michael Giacchino.
Shot and edited as part of a demo for the American Quarter Horse Association. This video shows a few riders of varying experience turning out their horses and getting ready to ride. Cut to music by Gustavo Santaolalla.
Wedding from June 3, 2007
A section of the video devoted to the cutest parts of the day, all wrapped up with a big bow that is Elvis Costello's song "She," which graced one of the best romantic comedies of the last decade: "Notting Hill"
Wedding from June 3, 2007
The bride at this wedding had a bit of a surprise: Her oldest son is a twinkletoes. This was such an event at the wedding that I cut the young lad his own dance montage. Following this are the ending credits for the final video.
Music: "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen and "Come Away With Me" by Norah Jones
This was one of the first videos I ever edited. It was done on Windows Movie Maker with some footage I shot on my 22nd birthday. Little did I know that I would make many future films with both of the gaseous masses featured here, lol.
As a filmmaker and videographer, I'm a fan of well-edited credit sequences that make movies fun to watch, even when all you're watching is the names of people who contributed to it. I tried to make something pleasing to the eye for Robyn and Matt in that way.
Fourth place entry and winner of the award for Best Story at the 2005 Grizzdance Film Festival at Oakland University, Michigan.
I would describe this as slapstick voyeurism with a twist ending.
Justin Rowell gives a terrific physical performance.
Wedding from June 3, 2007
Post-ceremony montage of picture-taking and procession. I cut between the different shots using the actual camera flashes to give this segment a more seamless look.
Music: "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys
Wedding from June 3, 2007
The bouquet and garter toss at this wedding were aided greatly by a very rambunctious crowd, an annoying photographer, the commentary of the DJ, and the hilarity of the bride and groom.
Part Two takes the group to their first meeting in the library. This is the most information heavy section of the film (it was a class presentation, so a little pause was required).
A performance video art piece where five of my friends dress me up in any way they see fit, using props and clothes in the room. The idea was to get some insight into their sense of humor. I chose music to accompany their sensibilities in dressing me up.
Things are beginning to look hopeless for the group as their time clock winds down, and they are still at square one. This is the section of the film that embraces and makes fun of reality TV melodrama.
I called this "The Death of the Cake" for good reason. Robyn can sharpen a three foot long knife in five seconds but apparently can't hold a piece of cake.
I had to take down this video briefly due to talk of copyright infringement, but MGC has recognized me as one of their own as has allowed me to repost the video of their hot cheerleaders screaming for the video gamers at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
