After dropping off my first Couch Surfers in Nelson, BC... I was totally full of a love for life while driving back to Christina Lake :D
It was a really great experience, sharing one of my favorite places in the world with some awesome travelers :)

We were hanging out at my family's place at Pender Harbour for a few days, and on the way back to my cabin (from probably getting coffee). We had an awesome drive along Garden Bay Road :)

haha, apparently if you eat this certain icelandic dessert, and drink coke, it explodes in your mouth. well, i tried... but nothing happened. the coke was flat.
so i drove myself to Powell River, and decided to film snippets along the way to keep me entertained. The next few clips are all from this trip. the tunes in the clips are the most interesting... in this clip: on Old Dewdney, just about to go over the Pitt River Bridge, listening to "hey boy hey girl" by The Chemical Brothers :D (Feb. 21st 2007)
Adeline took me around the Latin Quarter, and showed me an area that was kind of hidden away from the main streets, where there were no tourists. only kids playing ball where there were once men fighting lions. it was a peaceful spot.

The moon just looked amazing, and as usual, my camera (+ youtube) does not do it justice. You can hear a train way in the background, down by the river :)
I whisper in the beginning, "The moon is amazing right now. Amazing!"
