You can't play jazz without the blues, so I decided to play a little well-known one for everybody and played Tenor Madness, but with a hal leonard instead of an aebersold. Personally they're better to me because you can know exactly where to come in and when to head out, while with most of the aebersolds, it's just you have to ASSUME to know where to go. But yeah, Tenor Madness in Bb.

I'm gonna run a couple of tests on this new mouth piece I bought. I've always heard about Dukoffs but now I've decided to get one for myself. So far it's sounding like the best mouthpiece I ever had on tenor, better than the links in my opinion.
A bit of stevie wonder for you all. I played this for my grandma live, but this a home recording, as she turned 90 saturday, June 7. She still goes around walking, driving where she needs to go, cook, clean, it's truly a blessing to have her in my life. She is an incredible woman.
