Contrary to sleazy claims by Bob Schaffer that Udall was inconsistent in his opposition to the war, take a look at his floor speech during the Iraq war debate.
Even conservative Editorial Page Editor Vince Carroll at the Rocky Mountain News Agrees:

At the July 14th debate where Bob Schaffer pulled a stunt on Mark Udall's Iraq record that Vince Carroll of the Rocky Mountain News calls "bogus," Mark Udall, unlike Bob Schaffer, offered a cogent, thoughtful, educated response to the question "Why are we in Iraq and how will we know when we've won the war?"
Just as Bob Schaffer did when he read the first half of Mark Udall's resolution to prevent George W. Bush from invading Iraq, Bob Schaffer has been pushing a video on YouTube showing only the first part of his answer to the original question. We bring you the rest of his answer, and it isn't pretty.
Normally we think a candidate's kid should be off-limits in a campaign. But this stuff is so over-the-top that it deserves a response from Bob Schaffer.

Mark Udall agreed when Bob Schaffer asked him if he was "willing" to vote against an adjournment resolution of Congress had not passed an energy bill. Mark Udall voted against the motion to adjourn on 8/1/2008, fulfilling his promise. Promises made, promises kept.
