You now learn the art of pickpocketing, as you must pickpocket 6 keys from every guard patrolling the vicinity of the theater. Be careful that you don't kill any BEFORE you take their keys, or you have to restart.
This is the very beginning introduction to the greatest hit game, Sly 2: Band of Thieves. This game is also one of my personal favorites for the Playstation 2. This video marks the beginning of my video archives of every mission for the Sly 2 game, from Paris to Canada! Spam or "First comment!" posts will be mercilessly pruned.
You attempt to enter the ballroom, only to be dismissed. You can't enter until you have a full tuxedo outfit to wear. You gotta go to the guest house and ransack each room until you find all the clothing needed to have a tux.
Wow, who knew how desperate a team of 50+ Rock Raiders get when they run low on oxygen? Lol.
By the way, don't flame me about the music, it's supposed to be dramatic. =P
Beginning the Episode, you have to take photos in the ballroom to get an idea of the situation. Get up to the balcony by using the branches as seen in the video. You will be told in game, but don't go on the indoor balcony or you will fail the mission. And if you used a cheat to get the invisible gadget early, that will NOT work as a way to safely get to the indoor balcony.
This is it. You've completed all the missions to set the trap, now comes to spring it! There are many mini-missions involved to transpiring this heist, and also includes a scrap with Dimitri himself!
You got the tux, now you can enter the ballroom. Carmelita is a very picky dancer, so in order to get her approval for a dance that you must do as part of the heist, you dance with Neyla, as you will gain her attention to your dancing skills. In the video I purposely added a few mistakes, it's no fun when you do it perfectly. =(
Neyla shows up, and tells you that she knows a hidden entrance to the other half of Clockwork's heart. Same rules apply with the chase at Paris. Just keep up, and hurry to catch up if you fall behind.
To manage to cut the clockwork wings off the statue, you're going to have to use a *very* strong material to cut with. The jewels on Rajan's prize elephants are the perfect material. You got to get the elephants out of their indoor pen, and then knocked the jewels off their head crowns. After the first jewel is off, the elephants will start to whack at you everytime after.
Now that Sly has been freed, now you'll need a few keys. Unfortunately, Contessa keeps them with her at all times. To make the job harder, she has two or more bodyguards with her as well. To get at the goods, you've got to lure the guards away from her with noise, then take them out one by one. Then pickpocket the keys. You must do this 3 times.
A fun mission indeed. Bentley must cut off the power to the security systems by laying bombs in strategic locations on the bridge. You, as Sly, must keep any guards off his back. Since it is a bridge, there are no hiding spots, so you must break the statues and then take their place to fool the guards. Yes, I got alot of flashlight guards to hit me, lol.
This is probably my favorite mission on this episode. Sly enters the server room from the water pipe behind the palace. After finding the hidden code, you got to activate a doorway so that Bentley and Murray can enter. While Bentley attempts to gain control the electronic winch with his hacks, you have to back him up as Murray, keeping the guards off his back.
I bought this game a day before the date that this video became posted. This is now one of my favorite games. I always loved watching Robot Wars on TV, and now I can play it on my PC! This game is called "Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction". I hope you enjoy my robot, named ThunderFury, take out first 2 robots, then next round, 5! Enjoy.
Pilot
Bentley and Murray can't get into the vicinity of the palace unless you lower the drawbridge. To do that, you need to retrieve 5 keys from various guards on the map. As always, pickpocket BEFORE you kill them.
This mission is pure reconnaissance, as you are only required to channel three satellites around the region to your hideout's antenna to get a radio feed from Dimitri's nightclub. I look at this mission as a tutorial on basic tracking skills.
After discovering the location of Sly's cell, he figures out how to open a physical way out of the main area. He must hack the trains 6 servers to send the train flying off the tracks with the exact trajectory toward the location.
This mission requires traveling skills, as you must continually keep up with Neyla, who's leading you to a location to which you can use as a key point in your heist. If you fall behind, Neyla will stop and wait, hurry and catch up before she assumes you are not worth her time and leaves!
Bentley needs Contessa's Algorithm. To do that, Sly must hit all the stations and set them off so that the guards will reset it, thus displaying the code to take a photo with.
