i had a dream a few nights ago and it is a bit like this representation.
of course it is absurd, and i had little time to work on it so it is just a little portrayal of a dream i dreamt a few nights ago.
whatever
took off at 1/2 power and then accidentally engaged 1st gear (auto trans kickdown needs adjustment).
after passing the 1st vehicle, go to 220kph then at the 2nd car slow to 160
had to get the jumbo out of bathurst.
it is a short country aerodrome.
i like the old 747 200's.
they had much power to weight ratio.
landing in sydney is difficult but achieved.
wind gusts to 54 knots.
i wrote a little set of ai aircraft for the flight simulator and had 5 AI pilots fly in a race with me from chicago to new york. i fly the 707 and this is a walkaround of the jets before takeoff.
hello. i decided to take off from dusseldorf in my 737-800 and compare it to your clip to see how authentic FS is. it is quite authentic in flight dynamics seemingly.
i hope i am not violating your clip but it is interesting.
can i post this on my page?
here i am above a road i like in switzerland, and i attempt to follow the road after throttling the 737 up rather hard.
start speed is 185 knots and end speed is 575 knots.
but i am just testing frame rates and clarity on youtube with this clip.
this is a climb at 4,000 fpm and then a descent at 7,000 fpm to land safely at a neighbouring airport.
737's are not made for this punishment, but it is all i have in the way of transport in the hymalayas.
whatever. it is a successful landing, and everyone survived.
the same highway again traveled at a much faster rate than the vc-10 and DC3 version(obviously).< br />
i am not at full speed but getting there.
this is a distance of approx 9.7 miles
this is a short trip in typhoon conditions in a jumbo. i could not be bothered yet to do the sound, so i included some light hearted music.
kai tak is very hard to negotiate in gusts of up to 120 mph.
normally, there would be no attempt by a real pilot to land in such conditions, but i am not a real pilot.
this is a dc3 taking off in florida, but that is not important.
what is important is the clean frame rate and the resolution of the precache graphics before they come into view.
this is jus a test video so keep your insults to youselves.
the planes as they pass the first checkpoint. they are in steep climbing attitudes as the ai's decided that to get up to cruise altitude as quick as possible it was the best strategy.
this is a 3 plane race between my AI pilots in 3 different model 747's.
the newest is the 747-400 (klm) and leaves first.
the second newest is the 747-200 (JAL) (late 70's) and leaves second.
the oldest is the 747-100 (Eastern) and leaves last.
this is simply another test to see how my videos are displayable by youtube.
there is nothing of any interest here, except the frame rate and clarity experiment.
