We knew when we heard "Bama Anthem" by Tuscaloosa's 63 Boyz that we had to make it into one of our football videos. When you see it you'll know why. It's perfect!
The Texas Tech Red Raiders offense may be high flying, but the West Texas vibe is grounded and laid back. It's probably the weather in Lubbock. When it's that hot all the time, it doesn't take much to raise a good sweat. Make no mistake though, country rocker Cody Hughes Davidson knows exactly how to get you out of your chair.
Austin, Texas is always a good party town. There are two occasions that shine above the rest however. One would be the Mid-March South By Southwest Music Festival. The other would be any home game for the Texas Longhorns. Well we've brought them together here with Austin indie psych band The Boxing Lesson, and our 2008 Texas Longhorns.
I don't know about you, but I'm interested to see what Penn State comes with in 2008. Call me crazy, but they could contend for a Big Ten title. You never know. What I do know is that we have some snot knocking Nittany Lions highlights to go with the cool Western Pennsylvania band Identity X.
There's two things they love in Athens, Georgia. Bulldog football and great music. The place that gave us Herschel Walker and R.E.M. gives us the 2008 Georgia Bulldogs and Misfortune500.
There's good news for Ween super-fans, Hot Chip's front man knows how to stay productive, and The Beastie Boys keep it political. Find out where Julie Garcia is with Music News.
We first made friends with American Plague just down the road from Rocky Top in Manchester, Tennessee. The band were on the bill at Bonnaroo. If you like your music "three chords and a cloud of dust" well then this band is for you. Their game plan fits in nicely with these Volunteer football highlights.
KTP stands for "Kings of The Plains." Vying for that title in 2008 are The Kansas Jayhawks. KTP are part of a proud music tradition out of Lawrence, Kansas. The words football and tradition haven't been used in the same sentence when referring to Jayhawk football. That's changing though isn't it!
After all but breaking up following their 2006 Hate Michigan Rally, Rich "The Weasel" Rodriguez and USC have the Dead Schembechlers back, and more f*ckin' obnoxious than ever.

Of all the artists on our Top 25, only one actually played some college ball himself. That would be Kidd Russell. He may have played at Asuza Pacific in California, but this Illinois native is a huge Illini supporter, as you can see here.
The Deftones bassist is in a coma, Kylie Minogue lost some baggage, and The Kinks are back at it. Julie Garcia has something else for you to obsess about on Music News.
Of all the bands who participated in our top 25, there were none as into their team as Norman, Oklahoma's Fist Of Five. If we had handed out helmets, they would have come storming out of the tunnel and hit someone. Oh, and they rock mightily too!
What an off season that was eh! Goodbye Rich Rod, hello Michigan's money and hello to Bill Stewart. Well lost in all that off season drama is how good this team can be. Morgantown, West Virginia band Librarians have studied these matters thoroughly, and bring you their dissertation. It's called "Vulture Culture."
The Arizona State Sun Devils, for obvious reasons, play most of their home games at night. We're not that smart. We took Tempe band Greenhaven out in the Arizona sun to shoot them playing their song "Ape." It was worth the sweat.
Boy what an up and down season in 07 eh. With some clever editing and a kick ass band we can make you forget all about the down. Besides 2008 should be a lot more up.
In 2008 the ACC appears ripe for the taking. Sounds like a perfect time for a resurgence of Florida State football. We've enlisted Tallahassee band Seeking Sui to help you get pumped.
Louisville, Kentucky's Your Black Star performing "Strings" a song off their most recent release, Sound from the Ground. Catch more at ThePalestra.com.
