Who else could headline Flint's 150th B-Day, other then Flint's favorite sons Dan K? A parade started the day, followed by the rasta-est band in the world DKP. We call this the 'Dan and the Voodoo man' version. Fireworks ended a night that was a party for the history books.
Ganja Woman is one of the DKP originals that was the foundation that Dan K was built on.This was a 'monsters of rock' type gig we did to help a friend to promote his '420' clothing line. we hadn't gotten together in awhile before this show but the DKP magic hadn't skipped a beat.

This was the first time they played Rubes Bar (late 97). Rubes is a nice little blues dive located on the edge of Downtown flint. The year 1998 was a mixed bag for DKP. The road was taking it's toll on the boys. Dan would not lace up his boots again officially until Feb 2002. Regardless of any of that, 1998 captured some of the best Dan K Project performances ever!
This is the 'harmonica trip' version of DKP original Jagerbomb. A reprise will follow this will the full jam fade out. I forgot just how great this version is.

DKP blew the roof off the Loft this night! My personal favorite performance of this instant DKP classic 'Trustafarian'. We call it the 'atomic' version because it cooks.
