We were headed on our way to wu fen pu to do some serious clothing shopping. We decided to stop at the hi life for a drink. All of a sudden this procession of firecrackers, gods and drummers march by.
Moon Festival is celebrated every year on the full moon in October. BBQ has become a tradition for moon festival. Here's some clips from the BBQ I had with Han, my Taiwanese guy. Filmed in Taipei on his rooftop.
My ESL class in Taiwan hated one of our course books called "Chatterbox". They'd moan and groan as soon as class started. To try and at least make them laugh I'd start class off by dramatically saying "I LOOOOOOOVE CHATTERBOX" and trying to get them to repeat. It became our running joke.
This was during our semester end party.
I was treated to a scooter ride when I was visiting some of my friends down in Tainan. It's pretty tame driving conditions for Tainan but it was a Sunday.
I was hanging out in Danshui with a friend. She told me to turn my camera on and catch the lantern. I did when it nearly hit the water. Later it takes another nose dive before it floats away.
Of all my people watching while being bored to death at baseball games this guy truly gave me the most giggles.
