The Nokia N95 multimedia computer is the hottest mobile phone on the market right now and I show off the multimedia player with Rhapsody music, Gmail in landscape mode, new web browser features, and Feature Pack 1 settings updates.
HTC announced the HTC Touch Windows Mobile 6 Professional device with a new touch screen technology called TouchFLO. TouchFLO adds a "flickability" to the device as well as the ability to pan and scroll with touch.
Opera Mobile 9.5 was announced back in February 2008, but has yet to appear for download. It is just starting to make its way onto new Windows Mobile devices and the HTC Advantage X7510 (2nd generation) comes with Opera Mobile 9.5 integrated into the ROM. This mobile web browser is outstanding and provides more functionality than the rather revolutionary Apple iPhone browser.
The T-Mobile Shadow is a new Windows Mobile 6 device from HTC that presents the user with a unique user interface. Most of the common functions are brought to the Home screen so the user doesn't have to dive into the details of Windows Mobile.
I have now had the HTC Touch Dual for a couple of weeks and am using it as my primary mobile device. In this much higher quality video (compared to my first one taken with another smartphone) you can see some of the functionality and speed of the device.
The HTC Advantage is a niche market device and fits in between the smartphone and UMPC categories. This 2nd generations Advantage adds some functions, but also loses a few features found in the 1st generation device. The HTC Advantage X7501 was just made available at U.S. retailers like CompUSA and Amazon starting at US$850. This Windows Mobile 6 Professional device packs in everything, but the kitchen sink and after just a couple of hours with the device I found it does many things very well.

I've had the N81 8GB now for over a complete full day and like the hardware for the most part. There are some quality issues, but it isn't as bad as I thought based on other reviews. The music player is outstanding as you can see in my video!
HP used to be the premier Pocket PC maker, but has struggled a bit the last few years. The HP iPAQ 910 Business Messenger may help get HP back on track, even with the delay of about 8 months getting the device out the door.

AT&T and Palm announced the availability of the Glacier white Palm Centro today in the U.S. The Centro is a decent beginner smartphone that does not have a 3G radio for high speed wireless data access.
So there are 3 demo games on the Nokia N81 8GB that I had a chance to play and took video of today. N-Gage is the new gaming platform for S60 devices that should be released sometime in December.

The AT&T Tilt (aka TyTN II/HTC Kaiser) is a new Windows Mobile 6 Professional device that runs on a fast 400 MHz processor with 3.5G support, integrated WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The display tilts up so you can put it into "laptop" mode.
Palm and Sprint finally released the first Treo device with WiFi and GPS. The Treo 800w is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device in a cool blue color with a 320x320 display that seems to be a decent device.

The one area lacking ease and simplicity on the HTC Touch is in regards to text entry. There are 3rd party alternatives and I show how Spb Full Screen Keyboard and the excellent MessagEase methods work quite well on this amazingly small device.
Opera Mobile is a powerful mobile browser designed for Symbian, Windows Mobile and Linux operating systems. The latest version was announced just prior to the MWC event and then shown at the event, but the public beta is not yet available. This latest version adds some very cool features we have seen on the iPhone.
Electric Pocket has been developing mobile applications for quite some time and I take a quick walk through three designed for the BlackBerry OS. They include a dialer application, ringtone manager, and MP3 player.
Opera Mobile 9.5 is a fantastic web browser and is the default browser on the Touch Diamond. It is mostly the same as the one I showed on the Advantage 7510. HTC also includes a FM radio on the device and it is actually a great radio with RDS support.
