The Master first entered in the very first Robot Wars in 1994, with virtually the same design. It even competed in the middleweight division of Battlebots...truly a great design.

Thor is the hydraulic beast with the hammer..powered by a 100cc 2 stroke engine. Milled aluminum frame that also serves as the hydraulic tank.
Merrimac is the eratic moving pyramid...powered by a chainsaw engine it can move in any direction and attack from any direction.
3rd annual Robot Wars - Heavyweight division
Merrimac suffered from radio interference caused by its gas engine...the problem was resolved for the melee and you can see its full potential.
Both robots also competed in Robot Wars 1995. Both were very advanced for their time
