The RS41 has finished it's work at the Eldee siding switching Astro Ready Mix and has went back to Pineaire to swap power with the RS60. Here is the RS41 through Carll's Path crossing in Deer Park, NY past the Old DK siding. The empty hoppers were wobbling side to side so badly that every car kicked rocks my way. Power is 156 and 261. 8/28/08
The now-abolished NYAR RS50/51 night job hauls a freight from Pineaire to Fresh Pond passing through Farmingdale. The train is being pulled by engine 151. If you look closely when the middle of the train passes by, you'll find engine 270 which was giving the day crew trouble. It is on its way back to Fresh Pond for repairs.
