The Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra were redesigned for the 2007 model year. GM did a great job with these trucks. Tests show that these vehicles are safe. These pick-up trucks received a 5 star rating, the best a vehicle can get. Very good results.

The full version of the 1998-2001 Chevrolet Metro frontal crash test done at 35 mph (Geo Metro was produced from 1995-2001). Vehicle tested was a 1998 model of the Chevrolet Metro. Results also apply to the Geo Metro, Pontiac Firefly, and Suzuki Swift.
This is the top view of the test. A 1987-1994 BWW 7-Series E32 was crash tested into the side of a 1993-1997 Volkswagen Golf MK3 (launched in Europe in November 1991, Spring 1993 for North America), done by DEKRA. The VW Golf was a 2-door model.
