I dont have ANY clue why this was on tapes that i have. I despise central FL and would never watch this horrible WTVJ knockoff station. I guess somewhere along the line i received a tape that had this on it so i figured i would put it up for the YouTubers to see

I thought this commercial was quite neat. the music gets you hooked. Was recorded off WTVJ in 1989. I felt like i heard it before when i saw this, so i must lightly be remembering it, i was just a small kind 1989 so that surprising!.

This is WPLG report on the future WPLG and WTVJ duopoly. WPLG owner Post Newsweek Corporation brought WTVJ from NBC. Under the deal WTVJ and WPLG will remain Miami's NBC and ABC stations.WTVJ will move in WPLG new studios;when the studio is complete. Deal will change South Florida Telvision. News broke today that NBC Universal has sold WTVJ to Post Newsweek (WPLG owners) creating an ABC/NBC Duopoly, first of it's kind in South Florida.. So long the WTVJ we all knew..
