Groundbreaking for the new "Little Wrigley Field" in Humboldt Park, a Chicago Park District ballfield in Illinois. The Chicago Cubs donated the field having Carlos Zambrano and Geovany Soto picking up some shovels for the first scoop of dirt. Big Z was thrilled to help out, the crowd went wild. Cubs play the Reds tonight at 7:05 on 8/20/08.

Before game 126: A near riot and mass hysteria as Cubs Ace Pitcher Carlos Zambrano is in a crowd of about 800 greeting fans. A kid gets elbowed or stomped in the rush, receiving a bloody nose. The signing comes to an abrupt ending with Cubs security and Chicago Police leading Carlos and Cubs all star catcher Geovany Soto to there cars for a quick egress. DATELINE WASHINGTON DC: We are on assignment covering some huge breaking news on the political front with the presidential race with McCain and Obama. Taking a break to go to the ballpark we see National's pitcher, Luis Ayala trade gloves with a young fan during batting practice much to the amusement of the fans. The mitt is the biggest this reporter has even seen!
On assignment with Chicago Cubs youtube page in Washington DC, we are having some fun with the National's pitcher, Luis Ayala as he borrows a gigantic mitt from a young man in our row during batting practice. He catches a fly in the outfield to cheers of the crowds. Cubs won today on a Daryle Ward pinch hit homer.
GAME 125: BALLHAWKS line up and take off their caps for the Star Spangled Banner before the Cubs whipped the Reds 5-0, reporting from mobile cam 7 on Waveland and Kenmore.
GAME 125: We are slow on new material so walking around the park to show what is going on with our mobile reporting team. The cubs play 162 games in a season and today there are 162 bikes parked in the free parking on the west side of Wrigley Field next to the old Yum Yum donuts. 162 and 162, that must mean something. Game 125: Reporting with the news team on Waveland Avenue as the Cubs are beating the Reds 1-0. Camp Ballhawk is running a drill on common ballhawk tricks between innings until Soriano comes to bat.
Game 125: The youtube mobile news team is in the van going to some breaking news listening to Pat and Ron on WGN as Kosuke Fukudome gets two RBIs to put the Cubs up 5-to zip over the Reds. The mobile news team will be a new feature on the channel.
GAME 125: From our mobile news van, we were covering some other breaking news when we flipped on the radio to hear the Cubs win 5-0 over the Reds, now 77 and 48, six games up, listen to Go cubs go.

National's Ballpark for the New York Mets game, a kid catches a ball in front of us. They throw up a lot of balls during batting practice. We are here scouting the Met's in case they get the wild card.
