A look at the Aston Manor Museum Rally in 2002 -- featuring the last Daimler Fleetline in service with Travel West Midlands -- WDA 700T -- as well as many other types of preserved buses from the Midlands and beyond.
This video was taken of the "old" Cannock Bus Station in October 1983.
Buses to be seen include:-
WMPTE Bristol VR and Metrobus.
Midland Red : Leyland Leopard & Daimler Fleetline.
Green Bus Service : Leyland Tiger Cub (ACH307B).
Fleetlines of WMPTE are portrayed as being replaced by Metrobuses of West Midlands Travel October 1986.
The stage for this video was Perry Barr garage.
As well as a "genuine" Midland Red owned D9 on service 865, there are also WMPTE owned D9 types working from Walsall garage in this short film taken in 1976 in Walsall (Bradford Place) and Cannock (Bus Station).
The old Coventry Pool Meadow Bus Station plus West Midlands PTE buses filmed in January 1977.
Most are still in Coventry City Transport cherry red/ivory colours, one is in a "hybrid" colour scheme mainly WMPTE cream/cherry red and others are in WMPTE blue/cream colours.
There's also one poppy red Midland Red bus.
Seen leaving the old Bloxwich Bus Station in 1976 is West Midlands PTE ex "Midland Red" BMMO D9 type 5419 on service 242 for Willenhall.
