The recording, which features Syd Barrett, Bob Klose, Roger Waters, Richard Wright and Nick Mason, is officially unreleased.
It was covered by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith on the soundtrack for the 2004 film Lightning in a Bottle.

Rehearsal recording of the song "The Bitterness and the Bereavement", which later appeared on the "As The Flower Withers" album.
The original acoustic demo for Honey Pie, from the White Album, was recorded at George's home in Surrey called Kinfauns. Most of the demos for the White Album were recorded during this session with simply instrumentation, acoustic guitars and hand drums, and Honey Pie turned out particularly well.
