I got my Belgian Malinois from a shelter. She was very traumatized and not well socialized. After 4 years of working with her, she was ready for a new pack member.
This week, Sjake (Boerenfox puppy) joined my pack.
As he is so tiny, the Malinois has to find out how to play with him... Both had to learn to trust each other.
Friends of Feral Felines has a colony of cats in Portland's working waterfront. They take feral cats that aren't socialized for human contact and neuter them so that they won't breed more feral cats. They are cared for so that they can live long and healthy lives even if they can no longer be pets.
