John and Katie visited Tashilunpo Monastery in Shigatse where they saw a bunch of monks who were heading to a meeting after completing a month of vows. Then they drove back to Lhasa, stopping several times along the side of the road to avoid getting to the checkpoints too quickly (and incurring a speeding ticket). John bought 3 packs of homemade incense from the guy in the video.
