This is the first hurricane I've experienced. At the time I was reporting for the FOX affiliate in San Antonio, Texas. Hurricane Rita was a catergory 3 when it hit the Port Arthur and Beaumont area. She came ashore one month after Hurricane Katrina devestated New Orleans during the 2005 season. It was a long night!
