This is a rare early video test showing creature makers Steve Johnson Mark Siegel Craig Caton and Mark Wilson puppetering "Slimer" for the 1984 film "Ghostbusters."
Shown in this clip is Bill Bryan wearing the animatronic marshmallow head from the 1984 film "Ghostbusters." Even the special characters had to do screen tests to see how they performed in front of the camera. Bryan also fabricated the costume that he wore to portray the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
Puppet/Robotic type animation I did as an assignment for digital compositing at SVA. This is a short dance to "Step by Step" by New Kids on the block. Character drawn and colored in Flash, animated in After Effects.
This is a short film I had as my final project for my Narratives class. I constructed a puppet out of black bristol board and moved her frame by frame (taking pictures of her). I then cleaned it up and pieced it together in Photoshop CS3.

The crew of the puppet animation feature, Coraline sent the ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Archive a very special gift... a suitcase full of treasures from the film. Only fifty of these boxes were made. See the archive website (www.animationarchiv e.org) for information on the other Coraline Mystery Boxes.
A puppet animation i made last Christmas, it goes on for a bit, sequence of animation is on continuous loop because i liked the music =). I made the little character out of cotton wool balls and buds, then sat him on a toilet roll tube and he came to life =D. This was my first experiment with stop motion and i had forgotten about it. Let me know what you think. Music: Voodoo Child
This is the beginning of a stop motion/puppet animation I have been working on. It features one of my characters, "Whisk", who I developed earlier this year. He is a creation that stands for kindness, compassion and hope.
This is module's 10 assignment, for experimental animation...
This puppet actually took 2 modules to complete, 1 for the armature, another for modeling the puppet with clay, and finally this week's module for the actual animation (the fun part).
I animated on two's, if anybody's wondering.
