LOL!.Fast forward two months from that other first attempt at doing pull-ups or chin-ups whatever you call them. Turns out I was doing them wrong. WAAY! So here it is.. almost five. FOR REAL this time.
December 3, 2008 WOD "Fran" 21-15-9 reps of 95# Thrusters and Pull Ups.
Some of the pull ups did not count so I made up for them by doing extra. On September 15, 2008 my "Fran" time was 5:47. We will see how I do this time.
When you are getting ready for one of our workouts, this is one of the ideal warm-ups to perform to get your body loose and your blood flowing.
SurfBody Warm-up:
400m Run (1 lap)
3 Rounds of:
* 5 Pull-Ups
* 10 Push-Ups
* 15 Air Squats
The Kipping Pull-up is an excellent exercise to increase the intensity of your workout while working you back to give you that Surfers V-Shape. This is an excercise that takes a bit of practice to master, but once you have it down, youll be busting out huge reps of pull-ups!
