Here's a way to save time in Mega Man 9. When your concrete block lands on you, you can jump and it will eject you out the other end. I think this should save at least .3 seconds in Concrete Man, and it can be used basically anywhere you can find an enemy whose hitbox is above the ground.
this might even be a revolutionary trick for time attacks :P
