This is a spec spot for Turtle Wax products. I wanted to shoot a spot featuring people in a low-key style. I think this is pretty good. I used a Panasonic HVX200 with a DOF adapter and Nikon 50mm lens. The ground glass is pretty bad in that adapter and has since been replaced.
A test for my homemade 35mm adapter. Made with parts I already had, so costprice $0. It's just a test before spending money to make a vibrating 35mm adapter. ground glass was a piece of Leelux light diffusion filter.
I took the focus screen out of a broken old Film SLR and used sticky tack to hold it in the middle of a filter. Screen is not big enough but if i got the ground glass out of a medium format camera it would be the right size and have no etchings on it.

Stilll Waxpaper focus screen, but this time it's way bigger. Stopped down the lens to cut down the hot spot in the middle. It's still a little warm in the center if the frame but it's getting better. I need a piece of good ground glass and it will be perfect.
This is a shot of me testing my dof adaptor and lens with a broken peice of ground glass. This is just to test the INSANE focal length of this lens. I didn't even turn the dial all the way for this test. I am waiting for my focusing screen to come in the mail so stay tuned for better results
