This is the female Ruby Throated Hummingbird. During the course of the day (beginning around 7:30am) I filmed her feeding at the feeder. I hope you enjoy this little slice of life as viewed out my window.
some buddies an I were hangn out chillin...........an d noticed one of my feeder fish dead in my turtle tank. Well one thing led to another and we convinced my friend Derek to take the fish in a shot. FUNNNYY.
Every year about this time, we see an increase in our hummers, from the normal "resident" population of 6 or so, to upwards of 2 dozen or more. Probably a combination or normal migration and hatchlings. We have 3 feeders, but there never seems to be enough room - they sometimes are so busy competing with each other, I'm not sure any of them get very much to eat! They are so much fun to watch!
Transform your cover feeder into a powerful cylinder creasing machine with Technifold's Spine Creaser. Fits Muller, Heidelberg, Harris or Sheridan, Macey, McCain and Osaka cover feeders. If you score covers in a separate operation, you can totally eliminate that step forever with the Spine Creaser.
