University of Florida Design and Manufacturing Lab Summer 2008.
Objective: Build a RC robot that will pick up four tennis balls (2 on 12 inch pvc pipe, 2 on 4 inch pvc pipe) and drop them in a bucket.
Our robot was actually the fastest, but each ball you drop constitutes a 60 second penalty so we ended up 2nd in our section of 4.

Group 9D's robot for fall 07. This was made for design laboratory (EML2322L) at the University of Florida. It is designed to pick up a bucket, sort out the tennis balls and golf balls, and then leave after placing the golf balls back in the bucket.
This robot performed with 100% efficiency and completed the competition in 2:12.

This is a practice run of our robot (AWESOM-O) from the Spring '07 semester of EML2322L. Sorry about the shaky camera work, I had to juggle the ball mount and the camera at the same time.
P.S. The motor control box's battery was dying. That's why this video doesn't showcase the light speed of AWESOM-O, and why it totally stopped moving at the end. Trust me, it was faster.
