August 13, 2008: David Hancock rides a cherry picker to the top of the Sidney nest tree and cleans the lenses. The Sidney eagles had nested in another tree this year, raising three eaglets. This nest, which they used in 2006 and 2007, was falling apart because the adult eagles had not spent any time restoring it this year.
Very fast. Parent and eaglet fly in and out of the nest.

She was startled when mum came in with the groceries. She is supposedly trying to climb back to the nest. It sounds like she may be on a lower branch in the tree, but Mum has no clue how to help!
