"Surfing" in the pool
Made by qralex
Starring Olivier (Surfer)
and Fredrik (Board-Holder)
Filmed and edited by qralex
Made in iMovie 08, using JES Deinterlacer
HV20 24p video, didn't pull it from the 60i stream though/M.B. editor's suite for colourization. Had problems deinterlacing so field blur is evident in motion shots. Subject matter is from my garden.

Just testing a video that has a lot of blue (one of the hardest colors to transcode) to see how it'd look if I was going for Higher Quality. I'm trying to get the "Play video in High Quality" button ;)
David Hamill, iMovie & JES Deinterlacer, Production time was about 2 hrs, I did like the results but I would have liked to have a better camera position and stability, and lighting
DJedi vs. Paper
Highlights from our playoff game vs Paper in STA. Hate that some stuff was left out due to time constraints and not being able to fit it to the music. Either way, enjoy the video, my first one to get the 'high quality' link. \o/ YaY \o/
Deinterlaced, H264 Compressed version of
Music Video for "It's Not Hard To See" a new song from Joel Gildersleeve.
I shot and edited this video for my friend Joel. It's actually my first music video, which was shot in two days using a Canon HV20 in 24P Mode. I used Final Cut Pro to capture the video and Compressor to do the pulldown and deinterlace.
This clip was processed with the following:
AVS: Yadif
AVS: Cropped
VirtualDubMod: x264 1kbps Multipass (1st, then Nth)
The original footage, from camcorder miniDV tape, was captured with Canopus DV AVI

Same YADIF deint. strategy as in part 2...

... but I ditched the audio and upped bitrate from 2kpbs to 8kpbs.
This clip deinterlaced w/VirtualDubMod's built-in deinterlacing filter ("best").
It works well, but AVS/Yadif produces better image: strangely, deinterlacing is the same but AVS/Yadif has better contrast. See Yadif version here:

Ich wollte nur mal ausprobieren, wie gut die Qualität bei Youtube wird.
Aufgenommen in HDV, ein bisschen geschnitten mit iMovie HD (eMac, G4), exportiert mit Quicktime PRO (mpeg 4 video, 640 x 480 pixel, 30 fps, 6400 kbits, deinterlaced, Ton:IMA 4:1,
Filmgröße 68 MB)
Testing the different export option for iMove HD 6.
