My lovebird decided to take a bath at midnight in her tiny glass dish, i just heard hoices and put my screen down to find her taking a bath.
most lovebirds seem to like a 1/4 inch dish (these are the little glass sake looking disher for portioning while cooking)They sell them at the dollar store, 3 for a dollar . :) I work with birds, and i always recomend them
Out behind Frank and Ann's place after the Blue Jays knock the seeds all over, the Turkeys come in for the clean up, and hang out for a while. They even get a drink out of the bird bath. A Giant Wood Pecker gets their attention, and the dogs howeling get them moving.
Here's "Zoar Zoar" our 14 year old Male Umbrella Cockatoo getting a bath on a hot Summer day! He LOVES water and being misted like this. Every day is a joy with him around! (My Mom is in the background talking to our African Grey, whom I'll video soon!)
He went crazy when i was drinking water and he wanted that cup so bad so i just tried to give him a bowl of water, and actually he did bath in it happily
