PLÁGIO DO PEDICO
A plunging airfoil in incompressible flow is deformed by aerodynamic forces. Flow solutions are obtained using Overture's CGINS solver. Structural displacements are modeled using the Euler-Bernoulli Beam Equation. (Reference - AIAA-2009-1273, Authors : Dominic Chandar and Murali Damodaran)
This video lesson gives the audience an in-depth description of Bernoulli's Principle, which is part of South Carolina's 5th grade Science Standards. In addition to providing a working definition of Bernoulli's Principle, the video also refers to a practical application of Bernoulli's Principle (aircraft), and gives several examples of experiments that can be performed in the classroom.
Watch compressed air cause a card to stick to a spool. See that the pin is forced out of the card by the air pressure but the card stays on the spool. No tricks are used and the card slides off of the spool after the pin no longer centers it on the hole.
