Neste final de semana (10.10.2008) aconteceu mais uma grande seresta realizada pela Dona Conceição, moradora antiga do bairro Pitombera. Esta seresta já é uma tradição em nossa cidade e sempre muita gente vai prestigiar o evento. A nota triste é que mais uma vez a violência toma conta de nossa cidade, uma moto foi roubada durante o evento. A polícia realizou buscas mais não obteve sucesso.
