Here is my trusted old RCA floor model radio from the 1930s. Note the tuning eye. MP3 player is an RCA Lyra from the pawn shop. The transmitter is an SSTRAN (see sstran.com) kit AM transmitter driven by the Lyra. The Beagle on the floor is named Pascha... she's about 15 or 16 years old.
