This gets 200 hits a day, look at my other videos too. This is to showcase the pedal, amp, and pickups not the song or the style. It is my slant on Stevie not an accurate cover of anything he did. These tone demos are in the "style" of the artist referenced and are in no way intended to be reproductions of their copyrighted work.
Visited Hendrix memorial, found cool version of Angel. Yes I am that much of a Hendrix fan. In case you live far away, I posted Hendrix memorial grave site, Greenwood Cemetary, Renton Washington, USA.
F minor, chords are slightly more than familiar to Joe Pass fans, yea I probably butchered them but anyway. '68 Gibson Les Paul played straight into 1972 Fender twin with original RCA 6l6gc black plates, microphones were old yard sale ones from 60's and 70's, turns out one of them was basically blown, distorted a little. That was literally time machine type tone.
Original composition wrote it at age 18, revised it recently, slack key feel. Rosewood guitar, lazer etched, flowers, birds and cornucoppia on spruce top. Has a slight resonator sound to it. Some cool equipment in the background.
E minor noodling keeley TS-9, improv working out parts. Lindy Fralin stratocaster, weber 18 watt, I swapped the alnico speaker for my 1973 Celestion greenback.
