Lets take a 7 minute rider from St Clair W station loop to Yonge St Clair loop. We will be traveling on 4176 CLRV on St Clair 512 route using the first section of the new ROW that went into operation in 2007. Notice the snake track work. The new ROW saves about 6 plus minutes today compare to when it ran in mix traffic.
We are now traveling east from Dufferin St to St Clair W station. We continue to enjoy a bumby ride on a 512 6600's bus. Work has yet to start on the reconstruction of St Clair for the ROW on May 6-08
GO Run 155 heading west toward Milton arriving and departing Cooksville Station April 21-08. MP604 was pushing with 248 Cab. Train over shot the platform.
At 3:30 am Aug 10-08, the 400+ ton bridge starts on its final move to be place over the Port Credit River just over 2,000' to the east from where it is now. The rail Mobil had problems trying to pull the bridge onto the existing bridge. If it wasn't for that, the trip would had been shorter. It takes just 8 minutes to move the bridge.
Ride an Mississauga Transit eastbound route 3 bus as we travel along Mississauga Valley Blvd to see if we can read the signs for the Next Stop that are been put up for drivers calling out all stops. This was shot on a tripod next to the driver. Note there is no standards where the signs are to be place as well you cannot read most of them. May 12-08
July 1st 08 eastbound trip along Fleet ROW aboard TTC PCC 4549 first trip of the year. We will pass a memorial service for a 21 year who was drunk, traveling 30Km over the speed limit, going the wrong way and hit a streetcar head on. Westbound lane is ready to open.
Take a ride on a GO train from the QEW to GO Willowbrook Yard. We will see the newest arrival 609 and 610 sitting in the yard. We will stop at Minico to do a crew change. July 11-08

June 25-08. A 12 car GO train arriving at Oakville with cab 201 leading the way and 601 pushing it on current track 1 that will become track 2 in 2009 after the new track is built.
A visit June 25-08 to Aldershot Station. New 600 space parking lot open on June 23. All elevators are finally in service. If walkway cut into rear fence wall, it would allow people to walk to the station. The new area in the station provides a good view to watch trains.
GO Crew traveling slowly along CP Hamilton tracks trying to deal with track warrant form work. GO crew don't have current forms. CP crew on ES44AC 8888 wave new forms out the window as the 2 trains meet July 28-08. You can hear conversation between GO engineer and CP Dispatch. Tracks are very snaky.
