Computers use binary numbers internally, because components that use binary are easier and cheaper to build. Whenever you type a number into the computer, it gets converted to binary internally, and then back to decimal for output. (Actually, it's converted to ASCII for output, but that's for a later discussion.)

Creationists commonly assertion that abiogenesis violates the second law of thermodynamics (2LOT). They can only convince people who don't understand thermodynamics won't do any honest homework to figure it out.
Explanation of evolution for Octamed.
Pro-evolution, of course. Just realized I posted a response to his video 2 months ago ... so I must have been aware of it at one time.
Just caught a mistake in the last bullet at t=2:20, namely that a population will increase without bound IF THERE IS NO PRESSURE ON IT.
Evolution does not "depend on" abiogenesis.
Neither evolution nor abiogenesis violates 2LOT.
Creationists need to do basic homework on the subject of thermodynamics, before they set about "educating" other people.
We examine a very simple program in the BASIC programming language. BASIC is an acronym for Beginner's All-Purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. Some programmers really like acronyms. The program asks the user for two numbers, adds the numbers, and prints the results.
Yes. It's a number, but I would argue that declaring it an integer results in Russell's Paradox, if we use the same Zermelo-Frankl definition of integers that you employed.
Now we're writing our first simple program for our Model (conceptual) Computer. This is the most difficult video to follow so far. Don't be afraid to pause and rewind several times to get the ideas. The next video might make some things more clear.
Other Languages and the concept of a variable.
All higher level languages I know of use the concept of a variable:
A named piece of storage that has contents and an interpretation (or type).
A short series of videos for my daughter and her friends who will be studying computer science in HS next year.
