I attended a Sotheby's auction in New York last week. An incredible experience. I'm mistaken when I say at the end that Van Gogh's "The Fields" sold for $25 million. In fact, the painting received no bids and failed to sell.
A brief look in the Yale University Art Gallery. I took a day trip from New York specifically to see the two Van Gogh paintings in their collection. A guided walking tour of the Yale campus afterward was an added bonus.
This is a look at the books on the bookshelves throughout my house with a discussion of some of my favourites. I had to cut out two parts: the art books in the master bedroom and the small bookshelf in the living room, because they pushed the video over ten minutes. I apologize for the poor lighting in a couple of the segments. Please let me know about your own books.
Well, nearly 190 cm. of snow has fallen in Toronto this winter and we're fast approaching the record of 207.4 cm. set in the winter of 1938-39. What a nightmare it's been, but when we're old at least we'll be able to bore the youngsters by saying "I remember that snowy winter of ought seven and ought eight."

A brief visit to a Thailand festival in downtown Toronto and then it's on to the Toronto Labyrinth. For more on the labyrinth see:

I only stayed at the east Africa festival for about two minutes because it started to rain so that was cut.
I visit Toronto's Riverdale Farm to see the various animals:

and then make a quick stop in the Necropolis, the cemetery next to the farm:
