My take on 'dad dancing' that you see at every family wedding and 'do'. Badly Rigged Anatomy man is a mickey take of all the badly rigged game models I've ever seen.
A small selection of the 150 models I did last year from June till December, both the good and bad ones. 99% of that number were done in Zbrush from about may last year.
Sorry about the music quality ...something went FUBAR encoding it
I st myslf a small personal challlenge to do a complete peice, taking it from nothing to final render inside of a 3 work hour time frame. I managed it with 2 minutes to spare.
I did this not to impress people or anything but as a personal bit of practice and to prove to myself I could do it.
A special part video this time with te1st pubic annoucement of the impending release of my Book 'essential Zbrush' by Wordware pubishing. An in depth (and hence looonnng) book on learning Zbrush and digital sculpting.
My take on sculpting the Joker from batman done starting with a sphere in Zb3. The teeth were extracted to a new mesh and the eyes are two subtools of sphere primities. (So if you were being pedantic you could call it a 3 sphere head.)
This is a 1/2 hour or so speed sculpt from a sphere I did in zbrush 3. Luckilyu retopologising wasn't needed as the flow worked pretty well.
This was more a study of form and expoloration than a detailed sculpt obviously.
This is a quick speed digital sculpt done to pass 30 mins. It was done freestyle and without reference.
Unfortunately due to encoding quality not all the details can be seen on this turntable.
More about the upcoming Zbrush book by myself released through Wordware publishing. Also how a book has a habit of following you around for the rest of your life. (and much more)
Wel I'm il as a dog at the moment, so heres a double parter thats a bit different in some ways. Being a fan of the TV series 'life on mars' I was asked recently 'what period if you could be in a similar situation would you like to be sent back to....?'
My answer and reason why is in this and the next one. It also touches on how racist attitudes seem to come in circles.
3d and piracy discussion
why pixologic should give Ryan Kingslien an award for excellent work above and beyond the call of duty.
How myself and Kurv worked along side pixologic to ensure the 'get into ZBrush' dvd's were as perfect as we could content wise.
Why every zbrusher should carry a ball of plasticine with them at all times.
Upcoming articles and sculpts from wayne.,
I was bored....I like Doctor Who (the uk sci fi TV series over here thas been running for decades) so thought I'd see if it were possible to make a tardis using Zbrush...rest is after effects.
THIS IS NOT MEANT AS A SERIOUS MODEL!!
(This remix of the music was done by Danny Stewart.)
