The whole family came upstairs after Devin was born. I never saw people walk in a pack until that moment... and they walked right over to the baby as he was getting his first diaper changed.
My mom and brother Rickey's commentary about organic food vs. fast food is hilarious.
We sang Happy Birthday to Devin at 7:31 p.m. - the time he was born. Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Boo, Daniel, Auntie Vanessa, and "G-Daddy" Kurt were present to sing. Godmommy Tanya was out shopping and participated in the celebration by telephone.
Devin was being especially active that evening, so we decided to videotape all the moves and rolls of my belly.
Darren wanted to record a message for Devin, and this is it....
We are so proud of the Bear! He was baptized on Sunday, June 30, 2008 at First Church of God.
Present for this most auspicious occasion were mommy, daddy, Krysmas, Jon, Daniel's brothers, sister, Uncle Kurt, and the rest of the Walton/Foster clan!
Way to go, Daniel! We are so very proud of you!!!!!
A good time was had by all in the Romper Room set at Bryce's 1st birthday party.
Devin had to be dragged from the water, crying and kicking, to eat his lunch - AND WE ALL KNOW ABOUT DEVIN'S LOVE AFFAIR WITH FOOD! :)
Daniel Bear came in 6th place, but he did an awesome job to even qualify for the championshipship during his first season running track. I am TOO proud of him!!! :)
Devin is still determined to get into the kitchen. Now we keep him out of the kitchen because he opens the drawers, tries to turn on the burners on the stove, and puts his hand in the trash can.
A toddler at work...
Just because Devin is not welcome in the kitchen doesn't mean he won't try to get in by any means necessary!
My son is turning into a clown. He loves to ham it up, especially for an audience or camera!
Putting his finger in his nose is his favorite way to gross out mommy... especially when he puts both fingers in his nose and talks in a funny voice while shaking his head from side to side!
*sigh* I've seen the future, and it ain't pretty!
