This method is used to beat Omega Pirate in one "round" (before he ever finishes recharging at a phazon pool) with just power bombs. It's most often seen in low percent runs because it doesn't rely on the charge beam, but it's also the only one round method that works on hard. However, the timing to pull it off is very precise, so it's a lot more difficult than the other methods.
Neither the Power Grip nor the Ice Beam nor the High Jump is required to collect the Varia Suit.
Use some Infinite Bomb Jumping to reach the top of the Varia Suit's hidden shaft as shown above.
With enough Energy Tanks, and by avoiding to take most damage while quickly firing at Ridley, it's possible to kill him before the heat kills Samus. Entertaining battle that is required in a Suitless run for example.
There's a pair of rocks on the right side of this room, just before the ingclaw. Between the rocks is a spot that can be used to ghetto jump to the portal. It's possible to get up from other places, but harder.

The Korakk can be defeated before he attacks by following specific actions. He'll always open his mouth first, so walk forward and fire a missile to stun him. Morph without waiting for the missile to hit and roll behind him, putting 3 bombs and going hyper. Press C when behind him for an instant unmorph, then immediately kill the rider with a few uncharged shots (or one slightly charged).
Shinespark into Draygon's clutches and kill him at the same time to activate a Shine Charge that never ends (until you Shinespark, anyway). You can use it to get out of Draygon's room if you want, as shown above.
If you jump right on the ledge where Mother Brain is, you can easily avoid its laser by going into the Morph Ball. To shoot Missiles while on the ledge, you have to hit up once while in the Morph Ball to go into the crouching position, then shoot Missiles diagonally up at its eye. Shoot and freeze the Rinkas to prevent their interference.
The SA-X, in a rare moment of intelligence, fires a Super Missile to knock Samus off the wall, much like Samus can use Super Missiles to knock enemies off walls.
