Damian sees a kid teasing Luke and Kevin about being "lovebirds." When Luke laughs along with Kevin, Damian questions Luke about his reaction and Luke reveals that he's not ready to come out to his friends. Damian is secretly pleased. Meanwhile, Holden tells Jack to back off Ross and the investigation.
In Lucinda's guest house, Luke and Kevin are passed out. Lucinda finds them and is disappointed in Luke's behavior. Kevin leaves and Lucinda warns Luke that she's going to have to tell his parents. Luke accepts this but asks her not to mention that he was with Kevin.
Kevin wakes up at the hospital and remembers that Luke saved his life. Kevin thanks him, and apologizes for what he said before. Liv announces she's going home, and a pouty Kevin tells Luke he might as well go, too. Luke decides to stay.
Luke confides his love for Kevin to Jade. Jade offers her help and manages to ease Holden's concerns about his son. Luke is thankful for Jade's help and Jade is obviously pleased at their closeness.
As Maddie orients new intern Luke to his duties, he hopes his friendship with Jade wont cause a problem for them. Maddie promises Luke that Jade wont be a problem. When a classmate asks if theyre going to the prom, Luke and Maddie manage to laugh about not having prom dates, and then agree to go together.
Lily is shocked to find Jade in bed with Luke. But not as shocked as Holden is. He tries to get Lily to calm down, but she insists she wants Jade out of the house. Luke declares that if Jade goes, he's going with her.
Lily, preparing dinner resists snacking, but Faith gorges when Lily isnt looking. Lily welcomes Vienna, and when tempted by the food, pops a pill which Faith observes. Brad insults gays and Jack clues Brad in about Luke being gay. Natalie tells Faith she heard her being sick; but Faith asks Natalie not to tell Lily and Holden.
An upset Luke blurts out to Will that Jade isn't his girlfriend...and she never will be because Luke is gay. Luke laments how upset Holden was when he just suspected Luke was getting too close to Kevin -- that's why Luke went along with Jade's charade. His parents will hate him. Will says he's sure they won't. Lily and Holden are not Barbara Ryan. Take it from Will, they're great parents.
Luke tells Jade he's decided to come out to his parents. He's tired of all the lies, his and hers. All they've done for weeks is cover for each other, that's not friendship, that's sick. Scared, Jade goes running to Holden, telling him he's like the dad she never had. And then, in a very undaughterly move, she plants a kiss on him.
