The finials, representing balance and direction, are ducks made of stones acquired from various beaches in San Diego. See ya in the water.
Sheila decoupaged her chair using children's nursery-rhyme sheet music. The musical notes and lyrics of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," "Old King Cole," and "Little Jack Horner" are interspersed with charming old-fashioned drawings of fairy tale characters. The black finials, reminiscent of Mickey Mouse ears, top off this masterpiece of musical creativity.
