This is a Shaffer Shifter target being shot from approximately 25 yards with an AR15 using 5.56 ball ammo. This target is designed to train the shooter in sighting, tracking, trigger control, and hitting moving targets by continually changing speed and position, especially after each impact.

This was a 1000 round function test match for various pistol makes. This stage shows the banter of two advanced Marines as they proceed through the 50 round stage.
Shooting 16.5" barrel Co-Pilot at steel targets (top center target) at 25 yards. While the head mounted camera bounced a bit, muzzle rise was minimal. Note COM impacts on target. Rifle was loaded with 4 rounds only.
