This is a little movie I shot entirely with a digital still camera that shoots small amounts of video. It was a Canon PowerShot A610. The music was done with free ACID loops from Sonic Foundry's weekly 8-packs. I used Vegas 7.0 as the NLE. My thanks to Sam and everyone involved.
This one was actually created as a swing video for Sam Daughtry to show his cousin, a golf professional. As of this posting, we've yet to hear from his cousin so Sam's swing and grip remain the same. This one was shot at Encino Golf Course instead of De Bell. And by the way, I shot a 79 that day, one of the handful of times I've broken 90. Go to the blog to see the proof.
October 5, 2008 - This is a video of Sam scoring a par on the 17th hole at De Bell Golf Course for the first time. As for the Chico Esculea part, I don't really know what that has to do with anything.
Sam was having a bad time this day trying to hit a good tee shot. Out of frustration he asked me to pull out the camera and record whatever gremlin had invaded his golf swing. Then, lo and behold, the shot was... Well, you'll see. And if you've played at Woodley Lakes Golf Course, you'll understand the Palin/Turkey reference.
Here's a little bit of video of the construction with a few workers on the job. It' not much to see, but since I haven't done any video of the work on the new clubhouse, I thought I would post this.
Here's an old one. You can see how these little videos got started. I don't think Sam likes this one very much. However there are some nice views from up there at Scholl Canyon.
Here's a little video that came together when we played with a guy named Rolando. I recorded a couple of his swings so I could email them to him. I ended up making a little film out of it. He replied that he saw it and liked it, but I've yet to run into him again.
